Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What counts as “movement”?

Anything! As part of BCH’s Centennial celebration, we wanted to inspire our community to move every day for30-days, in any way that is meaningful to you! This might be as part of your commute to work, spending time with your family or pets, or simply getting outside. All we ask is that you come here to each day to tell us how you moved!

 Is the challenge free?

Yes! Your participation is free and voluntary. Plus, there are great prizes worth $15-$500 dollars that you could win each day you enter your movement.

Where do I get a scorecard?

You can pick up a physical Movement Challenge scorecard at the following locations:

Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center, Museum of Boulder, Boulder Chamber of Commerce, all Recreations Centers throughout Boulder County, Out Boulder, Twenty Ninth Street Mall, and CU Sports Performance Center.

Don’t forget to come back to each day to log your movement and enter to win today’s prize!

 Do I need a scorecard?

No! You can participate virtually by submitting your movement here at each day during the Movement Challenge.

Can I bring my dog or kid to the weekend walks?

Yes! If your dogs are well behaved and comfortable in groups they are welcome to join for the 1-mile walk. All are welcome to our free Centennial Weekend walks led by one of our incredible BCH providers. No registration is required.

What if I forget to enter or miss a day?

That is okay, just enter the next day! You can only enter one (1) time each day, but you should enter each day that you move with 30 days as the goal!
