As an independent, nonprofit health system that has had a completely local Board of Directors for 100 years, Boulder Community Health (BCH) exemplifies the transformative power of giving community members input into health care decision-making.
BCH, like all Colorado health systems, uses a systematic process called a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to identify and analyze local health needs and services. You’ll have an opportunity to hear about the progress we’ve made in our 2020-2022 CHNA towards addressing health inequities and improving the health of community members, as well as the care coordination of those enrolled in Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid). Then we will solicit feedback that will inform the development of strategies for our 2023-2025 CHNA.
American Sign Language services and Spanish interpretation services are available upon request by emailing CHNA@bch.org by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.
