Did you know that cancer of the colon or rectum — colorectal cancer — is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the U.S.? Fortunately, colorectal cancer can often be prevented, if detected early.

Our speaker is Dr. Dennis Ahnen, who has more than 40 years experience in successfully screening for and treating gastrointestinal diseases. He’ll explain screenings that can detect and even prevent colorectal cancer, as well as healthy lifestyle choices that can lower cancer risk. Then he’ll describe genetic testing for hereditary colorectal cancer.
