Also, learn about getting tested for colon cancer genes.

Did you know that colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S.? Each year, nearly 50,000 American men and women die of colon cancer. However, the majority of these deaths could be prevented through early screenings.

Our speaker is Dr. Dennis Ahnen, who has more than 40 years experience in successfully screening for and treating gastrointestinal diseases. He’ll explain a screening that detects and even prevents colon cancer, as well as healthy lifestyle choices that can lower cancer risk. Then he’ll describe genetic testing for hereditary colon cancer.
